Protection of contents: warning

Contents, reports, forms, indexes and other formal expressions comprised in this Web Site (hereinafter "The Site"), as well as the software necessary for the operation and visualization of the Site, constitute an original work in the sense of IP law and are therefore protected by international conventions and national laws on Intellectual Property rights which may be applicable. The breach of the terms settled under this clause will imply the commission of serious illegal acts and their sanction pursuant to the civil and criminal Law.

Any act by virtue of which the User of the Site (hereinafter "the User") may, directly or subsidiary, totally or partially, exploit or have the commercial use of any contents, reports, forms, indexes and other formal expressions, comprised in the Site is forbidden without previous and written permit by the Foundation. In particular, and not limited to, acts of reproduction, distribution, exhibition, transmission, retransmission, broadcasting in any way, storage in physical or logical supports (for instance, diskettes or hard disk of computers), digitalisation or disclosure from data bases different to those belonging to or authorised by the Foundation, translation, adaptation, arrangement or any other transformation of said opinions, reports, forms, indexes and other formal expressions comprised in the Site are forbidden, as far as such acts are subject to the applicable Intellectual Property law.

Likewise, any act by which a User permits access to the Site to different persons, whether simultaneous or from logical or technological accesses, located in different places or times, in such a way that the general public may access to the opinions, reports, forms, indexes and any other formal expressions comprised in the Site from the place and at the moment that any of them may choose, is forbidden.

Scientific or any other type of works contained in the Site, such as reports, dossiers, opinions, warnings or clarifications are offered by the Foundation with a didactic, social and researching aim. Such an aim does not permit the User in any case to carry out any of the above mentioned acts without the previous and written permit of the Foundation.

The mere visualization, loading or temporal storage, whether totally or partially, of the reports, dossiers, opinions, warnings or clarifications appearing in the Site are authorised, only for the exclusive and private use made by the User and those who maintain with said User family or friendship relationships in his exclusive domestic scope.

The Foundation is free to limit access to the Site, as well as the subsequent publication of the opinions, observations or comments that the Users may send to it by means of electronic mail. The Foundation, in this sense, shall establish the necessary filters, in order to impede that through the Site contents or opinions which may be considered as racist, xenophobic, discriminatory, pornographic, defamatory or which in any other way, encourage violence or the spreading of clearly illegal or noxious contents, may be posted into the net. Since the number of electronic mails is very high, the Foundation shall carry out these endeavours according to reasonability criteria, since it is practically impossible to control at every time the present contents of the Site.

It shall be understood that those Users who send observations, opinions or comments to the electronic mail address of the Foundation, unless they state otherwise in a certain and unmistakable way, authorise the Foundation for the reproduction, distribution, exhibition, transmission, retransmission, broadcasting, storage in physical or logical supports (for instance, diskettes or hard disks of computers), digitalization, disclosure from data bases belonging to the Foundation, translation, adaptation, arrangements or any other transformation of such observations, opinions or comments, for all the time of protection granted by the copyright law, which is legally or conventionally established. Likewise, this authorisation shall be understood on a free basis, and for the mere fact of sending such observations, opinions or comments through electronic mail, the User waives any remunerative pretension by the Foundation or exigible to the same.

According to that indicated in the above paragraph, the Foundation is also authorised to proceed to modify or alter such observations, opinions or comments, in order to adapt them to the editorial format requirements of the Site, without such alterations or modifications implying the existence of any kind of damage to any moral faculty derived from the author's rights the Users may hold over them.

Any technical, logical or technological resources, by virtue of which a third party may, directly or indirectly, obtain benefit, with or without any gain, from any contents, forms, indexes and other formal expressions comprised in this Site, or from the efforts made by the Foundation for its adequate working are forbidden. In particular, any link, hyperlink or similar tie, which may be established as related to this Site are forbidden. Any infringement of the content of this paragraph shall be considered as a damage of the legitimate Intellectual Property rights of the Foundation over this Site and the contents of the same.

The Foundation is not necessarily in agreement with the reports, dossiers, opinions, warnings or clarifications issued by the specialists who take part in the preparation and development of the contents of the Site.

Reports, dossiers, opinions, warnings or clarifications contained in the Site have an absolutely scientific and research aim. It is not intended in any case that such reports, dossiers, opinions, warnings or clarifications may offend any person or the usage, regulations or laws of the countries or places from which the Site can be accessed, but to which the Site is not specifically addressed.

None of the opinions, reports or observations appearing in the Site shall be considered as a particular medical opinion for any case, unless it is so expressly specified. Such opinions, reports or observations only aim to be a general criterion, merely orientative advice from a diagnostic, therapeutic or preventive point of view, and not particular applications for private cases. Likewise, it should be noted that such opinions, reports or observations are limited to the field of the vertebral pathology and hygiene.
